Responsibilities
FOUNDATIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Improve product using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Analysis
Improve design using a Design for Ergonomics study
Use value engineering techniques to reduce cost and increase customer value
Conduct 8-Disciplines problem solving process utilizing Is-Is Not and 5 Whys methodologies Utilize other root cause analysis techniques (e.g. fishbone diagram, cause and effect matrix, etc.)
Analyze a measurement systems using a numerical tools like isoplotting and gage Repeatability and Reproducibility. Develop complex mathematical representation of a physical system, and use numerical methods to predict expected outcomes
Conduct statistical tolerance stackup analysis using manufacturing capability data
Monitor process capability using Statistical Process Control techniques
Conduct process capability studies
Use value analysis techniques to reduce product and manufacturing costs
Qualifications
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 - 5 years
EDUCATION: BS in Engineering discipline

The salary range of $60,180 - $112,050 annual is just one component of Hussmann's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.

Qualifications
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 - 5 years
EDUCATION: BS in Engineering discipline
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities/task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, time management skills.
- Flexibility to work outside normal working hours, as required.
- Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC are preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Travel within region as required.
- Strong leadership and business acumen.
