Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree/University degree equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably in the Banking or Finance industry
- Hands-on experience with Transformation projects.
- Must have Wholesale Lending experience
- Expert level ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
- Advanced experience with Excel and BI Reporting tools to construct insightful reports, dashboards and key metrics for senior management.
- Experience working in a fast paced financial services firms
- Proven record of delivery in process and organizational change
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Ability to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholders
- Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Must be articulate and persuasive.
- Proactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/requests
- Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Works well under pressure and in tight deadlines
- PMP or equivalent certification
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead program planning and coordination of day-to-day Program and project workstream(s) activities
- Direct the identification and escalation of risks and issues impacting program and workstream delivery and ensures mitigation strategies are developed and executed that address key risks and issues.
- Work with program lead to ensure project prioritization and plan is in line with objectives and business needs
- Prepare material for senior committee meetings and Regulatory bodies
- Review/analyze program reporting deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and positioning of key information
- Design, develop, and maintain program reporting solutions, working with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective dashboards and reports which can be efficiently maintained.
- Lead meetings including governance, workshops and working groups
- Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery
- Direct communication of program status, issue, and risk disposition to stakeholders and governance forums
- Coordinate multiple cross functional teams to achieve required outcomes
- Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and knowledge of other areas to resolve cross functional issues.
- Ensure creation of program plan, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, RAID logs and Critical Success Criteria are maintained for timely reporting
- Participate in strategic planning meetings covering areas of possible evolution and/or expansion of program scope inclusive of plan maintenance, program tooling, and report automation
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit, ensuring transformation outcomes adhere to enterprise control policies, standards, and procedures.
