Job Details
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience in data warehouse migration projects.
- Strong expertise with IBM iSeries DB2, IBM Sailfish, and Snowflake.
- Proven experience in data modeling with Snowflake, including star schema and snowflake schema design principles.
- Proficiency in using DBT for data transformation and Prefect for workflow orchestration.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Google BigQuery.
- Solid knowledge of data warehouse design, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with performance tuning for large-scale databases
- Experience in Google Analytics
- Experience in Change Data Capture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects.
- Experience in data governance, data security, and data quality management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive projects to completion
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
