Job Title: Senior Angular/Node.js Developer Healthcare Domain
Location: Austin/Dallas-TX. Bloomfield,CT
Duration: Long Term
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Angular/Node.js Developer with a strong background in healthcare applications to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a decade of experience in full-stack JavaScript development and a deep understanding of healthcare data workflows, compliance, and integration standards (such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular (latest versions) and Node.js frameworks.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly UI components following best practices in UX/UI design.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end applications.
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security meet enterprise healthcare standards.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environments, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Handle integration with healthcare data systems, EHR/EMR platforms, and APIs (HL7/FHIR).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases to enhance stability and performance.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, PHI handling).
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v8 or higher).
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful API development, JSON, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Deep understanding of healthcare data models, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of FHIR API integration and healthcare data exchange.
- Exposure to DevOps and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine).
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
