Description:


Scheduling encompasses ascertaining requirements, developing related schedules, co-ordinating with associated groups, monitoring subsequent progress, addressing problems and initiating actions, as necessary, to ensure contract compliance.Perform specific duties associated with coordinating routine or repetitive projects, and assist Project Managers by performing details of more complex assignments. Suggest and implement measures to ensure customer satisfaction and improve performance.

Basic Function:
Production Planning encompasses the planning of the processes required to efficiently produce Company products and to ensure the availability of support services.
Plan and perform a variety of analytical and associated duties involving such functions as planning, construction, maintenance and inventory control, typically related to complex or large-scale facilities and equipment. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness of the group and increase customer satisfaction.
Typical duties/responsibilities for operations may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Consult with managers, engineers, planners and designers regarding designs, schedules, and tooling. Estimate requirements considering projected utilization, function, performance, dimensions, costs and safety to provide information for management decisions. Prepare specifications and documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions.
Represent the group in meetings and conferences and make recommendations relative to the section's operations. Arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts, and conduct evaluations to determine compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Plan and conduct analyses and tests, and prepare related recommendations and reports. Act as principal investigator or lead the investigation of complex technical problems typically requiring unique solutions and rapid responses to
prevent delays or failures.
Evaluate such matters as equipment utilization, workflow, and unique requirements of specific orders. Prepare layouts of equipment and workspace, and ensure timely acquisition and introduction of equipment to cost-effectively meet requirements. As required, provide technical direction and coordinate activities of less experienced staff.

Complexity of Tasks:
Duties require thorough understanding of manufacturing and related processes and equipment in order to effectively analyze and resolve problems.
Technical input, recommendations and decisions may impact the organization's effectiveness, cause delays and additional costs and result in acquisition of unsuitable equipment.
Requires ability to act decisively and influence decisions internally and with customers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field plus 5 to 8 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

Must have skills:
Microsoft Office specifically Excel,
(Data Analytics),
Communication and Organization.
