Job Description:
Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of Mainframe Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and CICS developers in designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications.
- Candidateage the full software development lifecycle of mainframe projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
- CollaboXX with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations in all mainframe development activities.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Mainframe Cobol programming language.
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
- Experience with Mainframe CICS in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and system software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification and Education:
- Relevant certifications in Mainframe Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and CICS are a plus.
