Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Commission
Collaborate with Chair, Executive Director, and Commissioners
Document all operational processes and procedures
Serve as primary contact for internal and external communications
Maintain schedules for public hearings and meetings, ensuring compliance with Open Meetings Law
Assist with hiring staff in administration, finance, legal, and communications
Advise on operational improvements and identify challenges
Recommend innovative solutions and best practices
Develop/manage schedule for hearings, meetings, focus groups, and outreach events
Coordinate logistics: venues, notices, agendas, vendors, and materials
Manage scheduling of speakers/testimony and virtual testimony logistics
Handle setup and support for transportation, catering, webcasting, and recording
Support outreach events and focus groups for community input
Document and manage financial procedures and approvals
Track invoices and payments
Maintain budget records using Excel or bookkeeping software
