Role: DB2 LUW DBA
Location: Remote

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain DB2 LUW databases across various environments.
- Perform database tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
- Manage backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, replication, and storage.
- Implement and maintain database security policies, including user roles and access control.
- Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to support DB2 integration and upgrades.
- Create and maintain automation scripts for routine DBA tasks and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DB2 LUW DBA.
- Proficiency in DB2 utilities, SQL scripting, and shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of backup/recovery solutions, high availability, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and database automation.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
