Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an IT Delivery Lead for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!


Title: IT Delivery Lead
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months W2

Engagement Description:
Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing complex application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
Develop detailed project plans, budgets and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.
Manage multiple projects concurrently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Oversee the system development and release management processes.
Oversee client/customer/vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met.
Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
Monitor all project risks and issues and manages their resolution and impact.
Facilitate project meetings.
Communicate project status to project team and stakeholders.

Top 3 Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in leading and driving complex projects across multiple teams.
Minimum 2 years experience working on cybersecurity projects and familiarity with cybersecurity technology and jargon.
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Required Skills/Experience:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
Strong ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, PlanView, JIRA, etc.
Strong familiarity with waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively drive technical and business discussions
Solid focus on execution of projects.
Effective management of issue resolution and risk mitigation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Distributed application development experience.
System analysis experience preferred.

Education/Certifications:
Bachelor s degree required; Computer Science (or related) preferred.
Project Management Institute s Project Management
