Apex Systems has an immediate need for a seasoned Salesforce Developer!! This will be a 6 month contract opportunity, supporting one of our largest healthcare clients! Please see below for all details & how to apply.

- Location: 100% remote EST hours

- Duration: 6 month contract

- Pay Range: $60 - $70 per hour contingent upon experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Salesforce Administration:
    • Manage and configure Salesforce objects, workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, and security settings (profiles, roles, permission sets).
    • Maintain data integrity through data imports, exports, and deduplication using tools like Data Loader or .
    • Create and customize reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights for risk management teams.
    • Support user management, including onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for end-users.
    • Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement Salesforce best practices.
  • Salesforce Development:
    • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
    • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Fusion RM using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), or custom code.
    • Design and implement automation solutions using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, or custom triggers.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Fusion RM Integration and Support:
    • Configure and customize Fusion RM within Salesforce to support risk assessments, business continuity planning, and incident management.
    • Ensure seamless data flow between Fusion RM and Salesforce for real-time risk and resilience reporting.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fusion RM-Salesforce integration.
    • Work with Fusion RM and Salesforce vendors to implement updates, patches, and new features.
  • Collaboration and Process Improvement:
    • Partner with risk management, IT, and business teams to align Salesforce and Fusion RM with organizational goals.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.
    • Stay updated on Salesforce releases (e.g., Summer, Winter) and Fusion RM updates to recommend new features and improvements.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, integrations, and processes.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and organizational security policies.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer.
    • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Fusion Risk Management (Fusion RM) or similar risk management platforms.
    • Proven experience building and maintaining Salesforce integrations with third-party applications (e.g., Fusion RM, MuleSoft, or REST/SOAP APIs).
    • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201)
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder
    • Fusion RM certification (if available) or equivalent training
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Security).
    • Strong development skills in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and SOQL.
    • Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, or custom APIs).
    • Familiarity with data tools (e.g., Data Loader, , Excel).
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for Lightning components) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering user-friendly solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience domains.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), or NIST frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Community Cloud).
