Title : Wi-Fi Network Engineer III
Location: Englewood ,CO (4 days onsite )
Wi-Fi 6 & 7 exp, network experience-routing and switching, not on the operations side but on the development side.
Client is looking for a Wi-Fi Network Engineer III for a Broadband Service Provider for our national telecommunications client.
This Wi-Fi Network Engineer with help with performing planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wireless network systems of high complexity. They will design, develop and implement wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. Additionally, they will be responsible for implementation of wireless network architecture and designs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in wireless network planning, wireless network architecture design and engineering. Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete wireless network configurations. Evaluates new products, performs wireless network problem resolution. Develops and implements approved methods of procedure. Designs, develops, and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.

- Hiring manager is looking for a Wi-Fi Network Engineer - (WiFi-not Wireless)
- Looking for strong experience in both Wi-Fi and Layer 1 & 2 Network experience.
- Must have Wi-Fi 6 & 7 experience.
- This is an engineering/development role, not operations.
- Ex of type of work: Our phones hook up to the Wi-Fi, we have to select the network, how this works on the back end-candidate should be able to walk her through that process.
- Long term contract.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient data wireless networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.).
- Proficient knowledge of related wireless industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols.
- Proficient knowledge in wireless network design, wireless network architecture, protocols, and wireless network topology.
- Proficient knowledge of basic wireless network devices and basic wireless network appliances.
- Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Related Work Experience 5+ Wireless network experience.
- Education- bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
