RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager AI + Global Engineer in Los Angeles, CA.
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing, planning and executing tactical and strategic projects within Technology. The candidate will bring a value-driven mindset and focus on solving problems and delivering value as well as influencing a culture of change and continuous improvement.
This pivotal role is focused on overseeing Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects and supporting global engineering efforts. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in project management methodologies, technical acumen in AI and software engineering, and a proven ability to work with cross-cultural, geographically dispersed teams.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and closure of AI-focused projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline; Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
* Value-drive project management orientation
* Well versed in Jira & Confluence
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of Technical Project Management relevant work experience
* IT PM with exposure to AI
* Experience managing operating budgets and/or project financials
* Agile experience required
* Strong understanding of SDLC
* Direct experience managing AI, machine learning, or data science initiatives from inception through deployment is a plus
* Understanding global regulatory standards and compliance considerations relevant to AI development and deployment is a plus
* Experience managing projects with globally distributed teams, including effective collaboration across cultures and time zones
* Financial services industry experience a plus but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
