Front End Developer IV

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Front End Developer IV for a 12 month contract role in the retail industry in Richfield, MN. This role is 90% remote, working one day onsite.

We are part of Client & Personalization sub-org under E-Comm, Category & Loyalty org
under Ram in DAT. We own the discovery experiences for the customer facing client.com
and flagship customer app.

Project Description:

• This candidate will join the Client Experience Team, contributing to our customer app (built with React Native) and web navigation components on the web (built with React).
• The team is dedicated to crafting exceptional product discovery experiences and optimizing customer shopping journeys through innovative navigation features that meet the demands of a top 5 e-commerce.

Position Summary/Job Description:

• Work as a part of a world-class mobile & web engineering team that delivers amazing results through rapid iterations.
• Build meaningful experiences for customers in React and React Native that are proven, well-thought and validated
• Directly contribute to feature design, architecture, implementation and team culture that fosters innovative problem solving - Interact directly with peer developers, Product Management, Design, QA - Inspire others with your passion for web, mobile development and the services that power these experiences

Skills Overview:

• 6+ years of experience with web development (JavaScript, React, NodeJS)
• 2+ years of experience working on a global team
• 3+ years of experience with mobile app development
• Minimum of 8 years related software development experience with Bachelor's degree; additional 2 years of experience without BS/BA
• Proficiency with server side rendering design patterns for web development

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

• Experience with Typescript, NodeJS, NextJS , GraphQL, Zustand, Charles proxy tool, etc.
• would be a bonus.
• You feel at home in a test-driven, agile team
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/macOS command line
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you must be comfortable in small and large groups and interacting with senior executives
• Flexible problem-solving ability
• Strong product focus: we expect everyone to do what is needed to deliver the best product for our customers

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $70.00 to $80.00/hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
