RESPONSIBILITIES:
One of Kforce's clients is seeking a seasoned IT Support Technician in Chicago, IL to provide dedicated Executive Support, including on-call, and assisting C-level execs with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, audio/visual hardware, and software. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively, provide superior customer satisfaction with their personable approach, attention to detail, listening skills, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and resolve issues and communicate in a timely manner are key success metrics in this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-year technical degree/Associate's degree in a computer science field with 7-10 years of work experience in related field required, or 7 years of similar work experience in related field
* CompTIA A+, Security, and Microsoft certifications preferred
* In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS 365, iOS and MacOS
* For remote location support, must have in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP based services (DHCP, DNS, HTTP), networks (LAN/WAN, Wireless, VPN), and telephone switches
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little direct supervision
* Must be action and detail oriented
* Preferred to have experience in one or more specialized areas of IT such as Microsoft Administration (MSA), Desktop Virtualization (VDI), or Anti-Virus (AV/EDR)
* Ability to work effectively under pressure to resolve hardware/software problems in a timely manner
* Ability to work effectively amid frequent interruptions and changing priorities
* After hours and some travel may be required
* Ability to deliver multi-mode communications with a clear understanding of the various audiences and positions within the client's environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
