Job Details

Job Title: Application Support 

Location: Strongsville, OH; hybrid 


Job Summary

As the Application Support, you will lead cross-functional teams during service disruptions, manage complex configurations, and support the deployment of new features and products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead multi-functional teams during:
    • Customer service disruptions
    • Configuration management
    • New feature deployments
    • New product implementations
  • Support production operations, change management, and processing activities using appropriate tools and platforms
  • Perform code upgrades independently and efficiently
  • Manage and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide technical management and oversight across systems and processes
  • Execute monthly patching and ensure system compliance
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment
  • Identify, document, and promote best practices within areas of expertise
  • Provide actionable suggestions for continuous process improvement
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in complex troubleshooting within mission-critical production environments
  • Background in IT customer service and problem management resolution
  • Proficiency in:
    • Oracle
    • PLSQL
    • CA7 
    • Informatica PowerCenter
    • Linux Red Hat
    • Microsoft SQL 
    • Oracle TOAD
    • Teradata

Flex Skills

  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with Connect:Direct and file transfer protocols
  • Exposure to:
    • Technical management
    • Incident management
    • Disaster recovery planning
    • Monthly patching cycles
    • Collaboration with development teams

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (required)
