Description:

Looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and database architecture of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust backend solutions that power our products and services.

 Education: BE/B.TECH/ME/M.TECH/MS in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 Years

 Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure back-end systems for healthcare applications, including electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine platforms, and clinical decision support systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support our software applications and systems.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to enable seamless integration with front-end applications, third-party systems, and healthcare data sources.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms to ensure the security and privacy of patient health information (PHI) and other sensitive data.
  • Integrate with external healthcare APIs, data sources, and services to enhance the functionality and interoperability of healthcare software platforms.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect and respond to back-end issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure high availability and scalability of back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect scalable and high-performance backend systems that can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
  • Implement data storage solutions and design database schemas optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Optimize backend processes and workflows to improve performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or customers and implement timely fixes and enhancements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
  • Experience with backend frameworks and libraries, such as Django, Spring Boot, Express.js, or Flask.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
