Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Specialist with extensive experience in finance and contracts management to join their team. This role will focus on optimizing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and improving Operational Expenditure (OPEX) budget transparency. The candidate will analyze spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support the development of dashboards to enhance financial reporting and communication.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Specialist with extensive experience in finance and contracts management to join their team. This role will focus on optimizing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and improving Operational Expenditure (OPEX) budget transparency. The candidate will analyze spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support the development of dashboards to enhance financial reporting and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze COGS spending to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Specialist to review and refine vendor agreements.
- Develop and implement financial models to track and forecast budget performance.
- Partner with key stakeholders to enhance OPEX budget transparency and reporting.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on budgeting and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of contracts and vendor management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to executives.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Strengths in communications, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with both technical specialists and senior level management.
- Able to articulate technical issues to key partners in terms of business risk and effects on desired business outcomes
- Delivery focused, willingness to perform all tasks required to complete the job, including administrative and documentation-oriented tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of consulting, audits, and software-related contracts.
- Familiarity with cost-saving strategies in technology-driven organizations.
