Job Details
We are seeking a motivated and a Technical Implementation Product Specialist to join our Implementation Services team. You will play a key role in supporting customer implementations, documenting specifications, and ensuring successful transitions to strategic platforms. We need someone that has in depth experience with API's, Web Services and SSO. Someone that can be bridge the gap between business and developers. We need someone local to the Chicago area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of legacy solutions
- Support the Implementation Services team with technical guidance on new integrations and troubleshooting issues with existing integrations involving APIs, web services, SSO, and metadata exchange.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Represent the business on technical integration conversations with client-side technical representatives.
- Support client migration to new platform solutions
- Participate in technical conversations with vendors and clients around optimizing our integrations with client systems.
- Help develop documentation that presents technical integrations in a way that non-technical client stakeholders can understand.
- Support successful migration of initial clients to our new systems.
- Support new product feature development
- Support Sr. Product Manager, Implementation Services in overseeing product development of new features, including review of user stories, wireframes, user flows and other artifacts of feature development.
Experience & Skills
- 3 years of previous experience in a technical product owner, technical business analyst, or even a programmer role.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- In-depth experience with APIs, databases, reporting, and system architecture concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Understanding of data analytics and SQL.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to customer-facing roles or implementation projects.
- Familiarity with metadata standards and integration protocols.
