Job Details
Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: 28 Liberty St., New York, NY 10005- Onsite (5 days/week)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, resolve, and follow up on user computing issues.
- Provide L2 technical support (desk-side, remote, or phone-based).
- Handle new hire device setup and imaging.
- Manage device inventory and asset tracking.
- Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow to manage incidents and requests.
- Troubleshoot Office 365 applications, VPN connectivity, and mobile device issues.
- Adhere to compliance standards and documentation processes.
- Work extended hours or weekends when necessary.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support
- 1+ years in L2 Support
- 1+ years in IT Support
- 1+ years in Customer Service
- 1+ years in Customer Resolution
- Prior experience with Windows 10, Office 365, and ticketing systems (preferably ServiceNow)
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of overall relevant technical support experience
- Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing IT support roles
- Ability to document technical issues clearly and concisely
