Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner in Brookfield, WI.

Day to Day Roles & Responsibilities:
* Aligned to a single Agile team that includes the Product Manager, System Engineers/Architects, Software Engineers, and a Scrum Master
* Leads Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Demos, Retros, and other essential Agile practices
* Partners with the Product Level Product Manager(s) to understand features and product needs
* Manages the team's backlog, responsible for detailed refinements of Features into Epics and User Stories that can be worked by the Software Engineers in a single sprint
* Responsible for Product Roadmaps and prioritization of Epics and Stories that drive the team's output
* Ensures that all acceptance criteria are met and stakeholder needs are satisfied by the team's delivered experiences
* Provides Agile leadership focusing on design thinking and Agile values
* Coordinates dependencies with other teams and journeys

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* Typically, three to five years of relevant experience
* Proficient Agile product management or similar experience
* Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Technology and Software:
* Jira
* Confluence
* Dragonboat
* Mural
* Mainframe experience (preferred, not necessarily as an engineer)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
