Need Senior .Net Developer in Harrisburg, PA - Remote to start - F2F interview

We have a Contract assignment available with our client in Harrisburg, PA.

Position: Senior .Net Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Work details:

• Work hours may not exceed 40 hours per week and 8 hours per day with the start time, end time, and lunch breaks defined as:
• Start Time: 7:00am - 9:00am EST
• Lunch Period: 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST
• End Time: 3:30pm - 6:30pm EST
• The contract hours exclude state holidays and assumes 80 hours of unpaid leave per state fiscal year.
• Work location is majority remote; however, selected candidates will be required to report IN PERSON for an interview at PennDOT s offices at 400 North Street, 5th floor, Harrisburg PA. Engaged candidates will also need to report IN PERSON to pick up equipment as part of onboarding and may be required to report for occasional in-person meetings or training.
• Selected candidates must provide a completed PATCH check and work authorization done at vendor expense prior to engagement. PATCH is for PA residents. If candidate resides outside of PA, the candidate will need to provide the state-owned and approved criminal background check from their residence.
• On-site work location is a secured floor. If the engaged candidate would like a badge for access permission, the candidate must let the Commonwealth know and bring a check or money order for $20 payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the first day work to pay for a badge.
• The agency does not provide parking.

The Bureau of Public Transportation, BPT, wishes to provide its transit agency grantees access to Power BI reports using data available in the Ecolane data warehouse. BPT wishes to explore ways of giving access to these reports through a new or existing interface/system. Agency access to reports should be restricted so that they can only run reports using data that their agency generated.

Candidates will work under the direction of the project s Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code to implement system features and enhancements.

• Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
• Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
• Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices
• Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android)
• Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards

Preferred: Applicants with the following qualifications will be preferred:
