Role: Sr. Performance Engineer
Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

  • 12+ years of experience in performance testing
  • Strong experience with K6 (JavaScript) and LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis).
  • Design and develop performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using K6 (JavaScript) and LoadRunner (C/TruClient).
  • Proficiency in scripting performance tests for APIs, web, and microservices-based applications.
  • Hands-on knowledge of performance metrics: response time, throughput, CPU/memory usage, TPS, etc.
  • Familiarity with HTTP(s), REST APIs, WebSockets, and browser-based testing protocols.
  • Experience in CI/CD integration of performance tests.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, ELK, or similar).
  • Preferred experience in Performance testing of ecommerce applications
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
