Job Details
Enterprise Database Services Unit (EDSU) provides technical expertise and support with database management and security assessment & accreditation. EDSU assists Our customers with implementing relational database solutions and securing Authorization to Operate (ATO) for mission critical systems. EDSU's service portfolio includes Oracle Database as a Service (ODaaS), Enterprise SQL Server Database Services (ESDBS), Security-Threat Assessment and Review Services (S-TARS) and Rapid Application Deployment and Resilience (RADAR) services.
- Designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases.
- Maintain database dictionaries.
- Ensure the integration of systems through effective database design.
- Administer and test computer databases by applying a deep knowledge of database management systems.
- Coordinate changes to computer databases to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect computer databases from unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Prepares scripts to automate administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
- Active TS w/ SCI
- 8-15 years of experience working with progressively more complex or large-scale databases.
Other Job Specific Skills
- Familiar with Oracle Database as a Service (ODaaS), Enterprise SQL Server Database Services (ESDBS), Security-Threat Assessment and Review Services (S-TARS), and Rapid Application Deployment and Resilience (RADAR) services.
- Strong knowledge and experience in database management systems.
- Ability to design and maintain complex databases.
- Experience with database administration and testing.
- Knowledge of security measures and techniques to safeguard computer databases.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage database changes and integration.
