SAIC is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary team on the Hypersonic Infrared Target Sensing (HITS) program. The qualified candidate will provide technical and programmatic leadership for cutting edge research, development and test teams and will work with the technical and WESTAR program management team to ensure that all technical, programmatic and cost requirements are met. The program has high visibility within the Air Force and the qualified candidate will be comfortable in reporting project technical status and milestones to Air Force civilian and military leadership on a regular basis.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience managing highly technical RDT&E projects.
- Experience with a wide variety of program management and reporting tools.
- Experience with creation and monitoring of integrated master scheduling.
- Experience assembling program data into clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Experience working with Agile tools and methodologies.
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with AFRL/RW management structure.
- Experience working within secure laboratory facilities.
- Domain knowledge in hypersonics, optics, synthetic scene generation, physics and engineering.
