we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

City - Contractor Site NBP

Mandatory Skills

  • Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Rate Flexibility

  • $200K $240K

Required Skills:

We are looking for someone with a system administration background, with skills in order of priority:

  1. Work with tools such as Docker, Rancher, Slurm, and Puppet

  2. Managing, configuring, and deploying networking switches

  3. Experience writing bash scripts

  4. Stand-up, maintain, and improve clusters for different projects

  5. Secure systems to meet hardening requirements and compliance

  6. Work with vendors to plan upgrades and hardware improvements for future deployments/expansions

  7. Experience prioritizing tasks and managing a small team
