Cloud data Architect

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud data Architect.

Position type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Reston, VA Hybrid

As a Cloud data Architect., you will:

• Responsible for leading architectural decisions for the Cloud, and Data Enterprise Portfolios
• Have a deep understanding of technical architecture and have implemented solutions in a cloud environment focused on AWS or Azure
• Have knowledge of industry best practices around enterprise cloud security, architectures, and patterns
• Have experience implementing security for technical/deployment architectures using AWS Services as well as experience with Engineering Tools and capabilities to solve for inter-service communication, data hydration, application security, platform resiliency etc.
• Have technical experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
• Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for AWS adoption
• Create application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications and assist with other project deliverables as needed.
• Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on AWS that address customers requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with other project teams and other laterals such as Information Security, Compliance, Controls etc. on technical solutions

Qualifications:

• Experience with micro-services architectures and cloud migration for data is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Master s degree is preferred or equivalent Desired Experiences
• 12+ years of progressive hands-on experience in application development with 6 years of solution architecture, systems architecture and engineering, analysis and applications programming, technical team leadership role is required
• A minimum of 5 years experience in working with AWS or Azure as a solution architect is required
• Experience with Architecture principles and TOGAF framework is a plus
• AWS Professional Certification is preferred. AWS Architecture Associate Certification or equivalent Azure Architecture Associate certification is a MUST
• CISSP or any other security certification is a plus
• Expertise in managing Enterprise Data platforms including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data marts is required
• Experience with SAS and R technologies is a major plus
• Experience with real-time and near real-time streaming data platforms is a huge plus
• Expertise in relational, semi-structured and unstructured databases is required
• Ability with Python or Java programming is a huge plus
• Experience with complex full stack applications and practices for solutions including API, - Micro-Services, Streaming Data Platforms etc. in large

Enterprise Data organizations is a huge plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $100-$105/Hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
