Overview
DecisionPoint seeks a Motion Graphic Designer to develop high-quality animations, kinetic typography, dynamic explainers, and rich multimedia content supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role elevates storytelling and user engagement through motion design, visual narratives, and creative multimedia techniques.
The Motion Graphic Designer collaborates with communications, UX, outreach, and creative teams to produce visually compelling and strategically aligned multimedia products across web, social, presentations, and enterprise communication channels.
This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Motion Graphic Designer will:
Clearance Requirement
Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.
Education (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Animation, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Motion Graphic Designer will:
- Create high-quality animations, kinetic typography, transitions, and dynamic visual explainers.
- Develop multimedia assets aligned with enterprise communication goals and brand identity.
- Support video production including storyboarding, illustration, animation sequencing, and motion design enhancements.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, and data teams to translate concepts into compelling motion content.
- Produce multimedia content for digital campaigns, social media, presentations, and internal communications.
- Ensure all multimedia outputs meet accessibility standards, including captions and 508-compliant formats.
- Maintain animation assets, templates, libraries, and project documentation.
- Support iterative improvement through creative reviews and feedback cycles.
- Stay current on motion graphics trends, tools, formats, and creative best practices.
Clearance Requirement

- Minimum 7 years of experience producing motion graphics, animation, or multimedia content.
- Experience creating animations, kinetic typography, dynamic explainers, or motion-enhanced visuals.
- Experience producing multimedia content for digital, social, and presentation channels.
- Experience collaborating with communications and creative teams.
Technical Knowledge (Required)
- Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and related motion design tools.
- Understanding of animation principles, timing, scripting, and storyboarding.
- Knowledge of video production workflows, formats, rendering, and compression.
- Familiarity with 508/WCAG-compliant multimedia standards.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience with 3D animation tools (Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Experience with audio design or sound integration.
- Familiarity with enterprise communication or DoD environments.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Motion graphics or animation certifications
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Multimedia design or video production certifications

- Strong storytelling and visual communication abilities.
- High creativity with strong technical animation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and visual precision.
- Ability to manage multiple multimedia projects simultaneously.
