About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our data team. As a key contributor, you will support data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting tasks to help inform strategic business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates or individuals with a passion for data to kick-start their analytics career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Assist in generating reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
Help maintain and update internal databases and reporting systems.
Collaborate with senior analysts and business teams on ad-hoc analysis projects.
Document processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
Familiarity with SQL and at least one data analysis tool/language (Python, R, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and willingness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or project experience in data analysis.
Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Understanding of data quality, cleaning, and wrangling concepts.
