Job Overview:
We are seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Tech to oversee and maintain our ammonia refrigeration systems in a high-demand Food Processing facility (Fish). This role focuses on hands-on technical work, with minor supervisory responsibilities. If you have extensive experience in ammonia refrigeration maintenance and are looking for a stable opportunity with overtime, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and compressors.
- Troubleshoot and fix leaks and other system issues.
- Ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical expertise to support facility operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ammonia refrigeration maintenance (required).
- Stable Job History (required).
- Knowledge of compressors, system repairs, and leak troubleshooting (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Facility Size: 186,000 square feet.
- Production Output: Processes 200,000 pounds of catfish daily.
- Fast-paced and dynamic environment requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
