Job Title: Data Governance Specialist Collibra & GDPR
Location: Bentonville, AR ( Onsite Preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist with a strong background in Collibra and GDPR compliance to join our enterprise data team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining governance frameworks, supporting regulatory requirements, and enhancing metadata and data quality standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data governance frameworks using Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
Manage metadata, data lineage, and business glossary standards across various business units.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory standards related to data privacy and protection.
Collaborate with data stewards, owners, and custodians to define data policies, classifications, and workflows.
Lead governance initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
Provide training, onboarding, and user support for Collibra users and stakeholders.
Monitor and report on data governance KPIs and compliance status.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra (configuration, workflow design, stewardship model, etc.).
Strong understanding of GDPR, data privacy, and data compliance regulations.
Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to document and enforce governance policies and procedures across the enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Collibra Ranger or Steward Certification.
Familiarity with other governance tools (Informatica, Alation, etc.).
Understanding of master data management (MDM) and data quality frameworks.
Experience in retail, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus.
