Job Description:

A Senior SAP MDM Functional Consultant is responsible for leading and managing SAP Master Data Management (MDM) projects, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize data management processes. This role involves analyzing client data requirements, developing data strategies, overseeing data governance, and integrating MDM solutions with other SAP modules and external systems. They also provide technical expertise, training, and support to clients and team members, and drive continuous improvement in data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:

  Lead and manage SAP MDM implementation projects, including planning, execution, and deployment.

• Data Strategy:

  Develop and execute data management strategies, including test data strategies, mass maintenance strategies, and data-owned configuration.

• Data Governance:

  Oversee data governance policies and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Engage with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements, provide guidance, and ensure alignment on data management solutions.

• MDM Solution Design:

  Design, configure, and implement SAP MDM solutions, including data models, workflows, and business rules.

• Integration:

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MDM solutions with other SAP modules and external systems.

• Technical Expertise:

  Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

• Training and Support:

  Provide training and support to clients and team members on SAP MDM processes and solutions.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Drive continuous improvement in data processes and solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Skills and Qualifications:

• SAP MDM Expertise:

  Extensive experience with SAP MDM (Master Data Management) and MDG (Master Data Governance).

• Data Modeling:

  Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience with creating and maintaining data models.

• Business Process Knowledge:

  In-depth knowledge of business processes and how they relate to master data.

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Skills:

  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

• Project Management Skills:

  Proven experience in managing and leading projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

• Technical Skills:

  Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, and other relevant SAP technologies.

Additional Information:

• Experience:

  Typically requires 6-10+ years of experience in SAP MDM consulting.

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems).
