Role Overview
We re seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive insights, develop advanced analytical solutions, and build intelligent systems that power personalization, search, promotions, supply chain optimization, and more. This role blends deep statistical expertise with hands-on work in large language models (LLMs) and modern AI architectures to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Insights Extract and analyze large datasets using advanced statistical methods and algorithms to generate actionable insights for digital products and services.
- Automated Intelligence Design and implement frameworks for automated insights generation to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Advanced Modeling Perform deep statistical analysis, including predictive and prescriptive modeling, to provide competitive advantages.
- Dashboard Development Build interactive reports and dashboards tracking financial performance, customer satisfaction, and engagement.
- Industry Expertise Maintain expert-level awareness of emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies; apply them to ongoing projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Analytical Frameworks Define data sources, methodologies, parameters, and evaluation metrics for analytics projects.
- LLM & AI Systems
- Develop and iterate on LLM-powered agents for task execution, reasoning, and retrieval across structured/unstructured data.
- Build and evaluate RAG pipelines, knowledge assistants, and agentic workflows.
- Design and manage model evaluation pipelines, including performance tracking and ablation studies.
- Coding & Engineering Write clean, production-grade Python code; contribute to reusable ML/AI components.
- Model Governance Implement guardrails for safety, compliance, and brand alignment in AI outputs.
- Impact Measurement Establish and execute measurement plans for implemented solutions.
Top 3 Required Skills
- Hands-on LLM experience (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agentic architectures like LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).
- Advanced Python programming skills for scalable ML/AI application development.
- Expertise in model evaluation for LLM systems, including metric design and A/B or offline experimentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RAG, knowledge graphs, and vector databases.
- Retail or digital product experience.
- Custom evaluation pipelines for hallucination detection, factual consistency, and relevance.
- Familiarity with TruLens, Ragas, Promptfoo, or React-style evaluation loops.
- Applied or academic research in LLMs.
