Lead Scrum Master

Enterprise Healthcare client has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Lead scrum master to join their dynamic and growing team. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities :

This contractor will be responsible for:

Guide the teams and organization on how to leverage Agile/Scrum practices and values to maximize the delivery of business value

Lead collaborative discussion, decision making, and problem solving

Program Increment (PI) Planning Prep

Coordinate and encourage participation from all team members in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective) and longer-term planning exercises (Road Mapping, Release Planning)

Support and educate the Product Owner in applying SAFe/Agile framework and agile principles

Lead Agile team in developing, capturing and driving review of Agile metrics to facilitate team improvements

Will be working with other scrum masters and HM on recurring basis.

Performance expectations: contractor will need to hold the team accountable, remove roadblocks for the team, good meeting discipline, and keeping the team to their commitments

Opportunity to play a Lead hands on role in the FAP front end enhancement project. Opportunity to turn into long term gig.

License/Certification:

SAFe Scrum Master Certification Certified Agile Practitioner, or equivalent certifications required

Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

Knowledge of Agile Leadership; Agile Management; Agile Software Development; Agile Testing; Project Management; Software Development Life Cycle

Experience with JIRA; Project Management; Stakeholder Management; User Stor

Soft Skills:

Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty

Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Intermediate - Ability to work independently

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

Requires 5 - 7 years of related experience.
