Job Title: SQL Database Consultant
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Consultant with expertise in SQL, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and deep knowledge of Accounting Systems or ERP platforms, particularly NetSuite. The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating and rebuilding our current invoicing-related database tables to enable seamless integration with NetSuite, as well as optimizing and developing SSRS reports to support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and rebuild invoicing-related database tables to meet integration requirements with NetSuite.
  • Develop, modify, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support ERP and accounting workflows.
  • Design, build, and maintain SSRS reports to support internal and external financial reporting needs.
  • Work closely with finance, IT, and ERP stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable database and reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and reporting inaccuracies.
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities related to ERP system enhancements.
  • Ensure database structures are secure, optimized, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Provide documentation and training as needed for internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, database design, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Proven experience with SSRS report development and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience working with or integrating accounting systems or ERP platforms, especially NetSuite.
  • Experience in data modeling and designing relational database structures for financial or invoicing applications.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools, APIs, or ETL processes for ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
