The AWS Cloud Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into existing systems and contribute to the development of cloud solutions that drive business value.

Job Functions

  • Below is a listing of the job functions this position performs.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.
  • Collaborate with architects and other developers to design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in the AWS environment.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and manage IAM roles and policies.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
  • Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and trends in cloud computing.
  • Be willing to be on call, as needed, and respond to issues timely after standard work hours.
  • Safeguard customer sensitive information.
  • Follow client security protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete all required security and cyber training annually.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skill, and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cloud development, preferably with AWS.
  • Strong programming skills in C#.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and tools (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with serverless architectures.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD and Azure tools.
  • Knowledge of Flyaway preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
