About the Role

We're seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the migration from a homegrown legacy system to Oracle, while managing cross-functional projects with dependencies across multiple systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in IT project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects with interdependencies across systems.
• Oversee Oracle migration initiatives, ensuring smooth transition from legacy platforms.
• Mentor project managers, coordinators, and junior staff in project management practices.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules and collaborate with functional leads to secure resources.
• Identify and resolve project delays and resource constraints proactively.
• Ensure projects are completed within schedule baseline; escalate concerns to stakeholders and IT PMO leadership.
• Create and execute risk management plans to enhance, avoid, transfer, or mitigate risks.
• Drive project outcomes independently with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate change requests and recommend actions to accept, deny, or defer based on impact.
• Manage and report on project budgets and financial status; ensure completion within approved cost baseline.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with teams, sponsors, and functional managers.
• Lead training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing strategic IT projects across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Oracle migrations or large-scale enterprise system transitions.
• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational change management and business process improvement.
• 4+ years of senior-level IT experience (e.g., Senior Developer, DBA, Business Analyst).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
