Work Scope: Application Development Documentation Specialist Perform process documentation for the Application Development area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document Creation: Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), user manuals and training materials.
- Content Management: Organize and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring content is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of process engineering principles and best practices.
- Review and Edit: Review and edit documentation produced by other team members for clarity, grammar, and compliance with established standards.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand product specifications, user needs, and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing documentation processes and implement best practices.
- Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Technical Proficiency
- Tools and Software: Proficiency in various documentation tools and software, such as:
- Microsoft Word
- Adobe Acrobat
- Content Management Systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint)
- Visio
- Smartsheet project management
- Prism PPM (Work Otter)
- Diagramming: Proficiency in creating flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
