Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Optimizely Content Management Developer to lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of digital content experiences using the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP), with a strong focus on the healthcare and eyecare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L1 & L2 development (enhancements) & support activities based on scalable, high-performing solutions using Optimizely CMS. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and content strategists to deliver rich, personalized digital experiences. Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.

This role requires a mix of strong technical expertise, deep CMS experience, and an understanding of healthcare-related compliance, accessibility, and user engagement practices.

Integrate Optimizely with third-party systems such as EHRs, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), appointment booking tools, and analytics platforms.

Lead and mentor a team of developers in best practices for CMS development.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, WCAG accessibility, and other healthcare industry regulations.

Optimize site performance, SEO, and content delivery for patient-centered experiences.

Drive A/B testing, personalization, and data-driven content optimization using Optimizely features.

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release management in an Agile environment.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in .NET development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS (v11 and above).

Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale websites, preferably in the healthcare or eyecare domain.

Experience with headless CMS capabilities and integration with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).

Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, data privacy, and digital patient engagement.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools, content modeling, taxonomy, and customer journey mapping.

Proficient in Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.

Optional:

Optimizely Certification Developer

Experience with Optimizely Commerce or Optimizely Experimentation tools.

Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
