About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Support Engineer to join our team in Ocala, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for optical and electrical testing of production units. You will also play a key role in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for test station or unit failures.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated test stations for optical and electrical checks.
Perform root cause failure analysis on failed production units.
Recommend and implement corrective actions for test station issues.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to address production unit failures.
Document findings and maintain detailed records of test results and corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
1-2 years of experience in Power Electronics.
2-4 years of experience in a production environment.
2-4 years of experience in Electrical Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
1-2 years of experience with Validation Test Plans.
Experience applying technical principles, theories, and concepts across disciplines.
Hands-on experience with test stations in a production environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
