JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rehabilitation outpatient facility rated #1 in the Northeast by Newsweek and #3 in the United States by US News is looking to welcome a Manager of Physical Therapists. Candidate will hands on providing Physical Therapy while getting the experience managing a facility. We offer generous student loan assistance and will pay for continuing education

 

Current and valid state licensure as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist required. (For Clinical Manager/Speech: Current

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing

Association required.)

  • A minimum of three years experience in a rehab setting required with supervisory experience preferred.

Ensures success of department operations through building employee engagement, effective talent assessment, continual

learning and development, cross-training and succession planning.

Identifies and initiates own professional growth through continued learning, self-study and involvement in professional activities

and organizations.

Ensures that direct reports have received upon hire and continue to receive throughout employment the training, information and

support to accomplish departmental objectives and meet job requirements.

Based on the Competency Program established for direct care providers, possesses the skills and competencies necessary to

perform job function in accordance with population served criteria.

  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Provides daily management and supervision of services at assigned center, possesses a diverse knowledge base and skill set to

facilitate patient treatment and staff development. Facilitate team dynamics and efficient facility functions. The CM is involved in the

organization and the community to help grow the business. Responsible for staff and financial management of the outpatient center,

identifies key indicators and influences upon them. Communicates with Regional Director/Market Manager on an on-going basis and

provides clinical and operational performance updates.
