Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Escondido, California. This long-term contract position involves a blend of IT support and system administration responsibilities, requiring expertise in a wide array of technologies and tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational processes, implementing robust cybersecurity measures, and supporting our staff with innovative tech solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Azure virtual machines, applications, and security settings.
Design, implement, and oversee cybersecurity policies, including tools like Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate, PowerShell scripting, and other automation tools.
Develop and maintain data reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
Support the integration and data transfer between multiple third-party applications and platforms, leveraging APIs and Azure Graph.
Create and deploy custom applications using Power Apps and AI tools such as Copilot.
Perform inventory management, including unboxing, installing, and configuring new hardware and software.
Enhance system security and compliance by implementing conditional access policies and data loss prevention protocols.
Utilize AWS technologies like Amazon EC2, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling to optimize cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in cloud system administration with a focus on Azure and AWS platforms.
Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell and automation tools like Ansible.
Strong background in cybersecurity, including data loss prevention, insider risk management, and conditional access.
Proficiency with tools like Power BI for data reporting and analytics.
Familiarity with workflow automation using Power Automate and other scripting methods.
Hands-on experience managing backup technologies and cluster analysis.
Knowledge of API development and data integration techniques.
Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks, from hardware setup to advanced system administration.
