The Opportunity
As a Sales Engineer, you will connect client needs with technical solutions. You'll work closely with the sales team, guiding potential customers through demos, addressing integration questions, and providing market feedback to product teams.
This early-stage role provides an opportunity to establish foundational processes and shape the team's direction.
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborating with Account Executives to deliver product demos and lead technical discussions
Managing technical validation: proof of concepts, scoping, and reviews
Acting as the customer voice for internal teams
Developing and maintaining technical documentation and demo materials
Becoming an expert on the product, APIs, and integration workflows
Creating scalable practices for future team growth
What You Bring
2 to 5+ years in pre-sales or technical consulting (Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar)
Experience in SaaS companies, ideally during early or growth phases
Understanding of APIs, architecture, and integration patterns
Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Organized and adaptable with a problem-solving mindset
Bonus Points For
Background in software development, product, or customer success
Experience with data infrastructure or analytics
Familiarity with modern web APIs and automation platforms, as well as foundational web development technologies
Exposure to HTML, CSS, or scripting tools
