Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Management Lead Technology Consultant with a deep understanding of SAP systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of warehousing processes and demonstrated expertise in designing and configuring Warehouse Management (WM) solutions in ECC WM and S/4HANA environments. This role requires strong integration knowledge with other related SAP modules such as MM, SD, LE, PP, and QM, as well as interfacing WM with external custom solutions and third-party packages.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for WM, including solution design, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Design and configure simple and complex inbound receipt processes with putaway strategies.
- Implement complex outbound processes including stock removal strategies, handling units, picking, staging, and loading.
- Configure RF/Mobile Data menu, queues, and picking patterns for efficient warehouse operations.
- Design outbound processes for parcel shipping, less than truckload (LTL), and full truckload (FTL) shipping.
- Expertise in WM handling unit management, search strategies, cycle counts, posting changes, serialization, and batch management.
- Design custom RF transactions and label printing solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
- Integrate WM with other SAP modules (QM, TM, PP) and third-party warehouse systems.
- Stay updated with new WM features in S/4HANA and the latest Fiori tiles available.
- Manage WM-related master data loading and conversions effectively.
- Develop custom solutions that extend best practices to fit business requirements.
- Guide and provide training to end users on SAP software solutions.
Requirements:
- 7-12 years of relevant functional experience in warehouse management, with at least 5-8 full end-to-end WM warehouse implementations.
- Hands-on experience in configuring WM and overall solution design.
- Specialized knowledge and certification in SAP Technology is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, particularly SAP.
- Experience applying systems analysis techniques to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications in SAP technology.
- Proficiency in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs in SAP Technology, based on user or system design specifications.
- Ability to work in high-end consulting roles, implementing SAP software solutions across different industries and functionalities.
