The Digital Platform & Services team is responsible for assessing emerging trends, technologies, electronic platforms, potential partnerships, and for building digital products - that could transform the way we, and our clients, do business. Our team consists of product managers, designers, developers and business representatives. The team is thoughtful in balancing due diligence with speed to market and creativity with discipline in order to produce best-in-class, efficient, thoughtful digital solutions for our clients.

As a Data Entitlements Product Director in the Digital Platform & Services team, you will focus on delivering JPMorgan's data capabilities to the rest of the firm. This team builds forward-looking, foundational technologies and core capabilities for future data platforms. You will be responsible for building data solutions to support businesses and developers creating novel consumer experiences and workplace/productivity products

Job responsibilities
  • Develop a data entitlements solution for JPMorgan's cloud data platforms.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, data governance teams, and technology teams, to understand data entitlements requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend data entitlements tools and technologies to support the organization's data quality objectives.
  • Develop data entitlements guidelines, policies, and standards across the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of data entitlements best practices through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in the data entitlements space, and apply relevant insights to improve the organization's data entitlements capabilities.
  • Partner with the Data Engineering Technology team to ensure the product vision, roadmap and prioritization is clearly understood and efficiently executed

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
  • You have 10+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in data management and at least 2+ years in a product role
  • Strong understanding of data entitlements concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data entitlements tools and technologies, such as Immuta, Zanzibar, Lake Formation.
  • Experience working with various cloud data lake technologies - AWS Lake Formation, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake
  • You have strong leadership skills and the ability to independently own products or a portfolio of products end-to-end. You have a strong track record of product deliveries
  • Experience in Product Management discipline doing business analysis, market/user research, owning roadmap, project management, business and project plans

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • An understanding of "as-a-service" models and the core capabilities of the public Cloud
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and the ability to influence peers by articulating the product offering and value to business partners
  • Knowledge of investment banking products, processes, and regulations
