Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Development: Design, develop, and execute automated tests for both UI (using Playwright) and API.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. Actively participate in code reviews (Pull Requests).
  • Collaboration & Analysis: Work with developers, business owners, and a QA lead to understand requirements, refine work items, and ensure technical accuracy.
  • CI/CD Integration: Build, maintain, and manage test automation within Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML).
  • Full-Cycle Ownership: Handle tasks from requirement analysis and estimation through to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary, demonstrating a strong understanding of test cases and edge cases.

Must-Have Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • API & UI Automation: 3+ years of strong experience.
  • Playwright: 3+ years of competent experience. This is a key, specific tool requirement.
  • C# (or similar OOP language): 3+ years of strong experience.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: 2+ years of strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) or similar (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Web Fundamentals: 2+ years of strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Source Control: 2+ years of strong experience with Git.
  • Database & Data: 2+ years of competent experience with SQL and managing test data.
