Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westerville, OH that is seeking a Full Stack React, Node JS Developer.

Responsibilities:
* Developing modern UI using front end technologies like React and backend services like Spring, ECS, AWS, S3, RESTful services
* Design React JS based components for customer facing applications
* Understand existing flows and modernize using cloud based technologies like AWS, React, Spring Boot
* Collaborate within and outside team to design and develop solutions, analysis and fixing issues
* Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
* Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
* Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
* Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
* Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
* Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
* Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

REQUIREMENTS:
* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
* In-depth knowledge of React JS. TypeScript, Websockets, NodeJS
* Experience with state management in React technologies
* Experience with automation test frameworks like Cucumber, Jest, Cypress and Storybook to write unit test, component test and contract tests
* Experience with performance testing browser based applications
* Experience with service workers, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace
* Proficient in AWS services like ECS, S3, ALB, NLB, Lambda
* Knowledge of OS scripting language like Powershell and Bash
* Understanding of loosely coupled architecture and application design patterns
* Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Experience with micro frontends, CEN/XFS APIs, Terraform
* Exposure to Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful, PowerShell, Bash, Dynamo, Aurora
* Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Open Telemetry

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
