Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and drive execution of projects/small programs to deliver solutions for client-facing applications
  • Partner with multiple technology teams/organizations, line of business stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, facilitate project workgroup meetings, provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, effectively manage project risks/dependencies and ensure compliance with enterprise standards (e.g., change management)
  • Routine status updates, maintain appropriate systems of record and financial management (+/-1%)
  • Meticulously manage robust project plan using effective communication skills to ensure successful delivery

Requirements:
  • Delivery Lead with 7-10 years of experience
  • Experience leading SDLC projects/programs, either end-to-end (as the general contractor) or as a service provider
  • Agile project/program delivery from work intake to code deployment and ultimately BAU turnover
  • Proven ability to partner across complex, matrixed organizations with varying objectives
  • Ability to navigate technical discussions, influence decisions and gain consensus on topics such as design, timelines and scope
  • Trusted partner who promptly identifies/escalates risks and can drive resolution of complex, time-sensitive problems to desired outcomes
  • Understanding of initiative funding model
  • Moderate or higher proficiency in Jira, PPRT, PMMT, PCM/TPAS and ALM/MLQC
  • Understanding of enterprise change management standards and practices
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to solicit input from key partners

Desired skills:
  • Previous experience managing SDLC projects end-to-end, with responsibilities including project planning (WBS), stakeholder management, financial management, change management, scope management and status communication
  • Deep understanding of agile ecosystem, including road-mapping and prioritization
  • Ability to work on a small team that engages with numerous partners/teams of varying sizes
