Our client

is looking for an experienced Software Engineer IV to join the CAP1 ADMIN team. This is a senior-level, project-based role requiring strong hands-on technical skills and communication with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, and deploy COBOL code in a high-risk, 24/7 financial environment.

  • Work on HP Nonstop (HPNS) systems, focusing on both real-time authorization and batch processing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.

  • Participate in system analysis, design, and implementation activities.

  • Support testing, migration, and deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Jira.

Required Skills

  • 5 7 years of experience in software engineering (HP Nonstop systems).

  • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL and TAL (Tandem Application Language).

  • Experience with DB2, Git, and Jenkins.

  • Background in financial systems and real-time transaction environments.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and source code management tools (e.g., Control).

  • Familiarity with JCL and REXX is a plus.
