Job Details
The cloud engineering team is broken down into 4 subcomponents. Security, Data Governance, Landing Zones, Automation. They like to pass off the resources across all 4 teams. That is why they need both infrastructure and application knowledge. The team is a heavy application team because typically infrastructure is easier to pick up, huge emphasis on coding and best practices(they like a java background)
The ideal candidate would have a developer background in Java and experience in automation and scripting with hands on experience with Azure Resource Manager, ARM Templates, Azure Policies, Python and Terraform or similar product.
Any Cloud experience, developing on it, not just working with it
Two positions available. One is hybrid (2 days in office) in Pittsburgh second location is NJ
