Informatica Administrator

Introduction:

The Informatica Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Informatica Data Quality and Informatica Data Integration Hub platforms in a 24*7 global environment. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and perform on-going Administration activities for Informatica Data Quality and Informatica Data Integration Hub platforms.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Testers, Network Engineers, Linux Administrators, Storage Engineers, and Database Administrators to ensure seamless integration of Informatica platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Informatica platforms, leading investigations and isolating problems effectively.
  • Utilize Linux shell scripting for intermediate level tasks related to Informatica platform administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • 4+ years of experience working as an Administrator for Informatica Data Quality and/or Informatica Data Integration Hub platforms.
  • Experience administering Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange products is a plus.
  • Intermediate level experience with Linux shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem management and troubleshooting skills.
